The Train-the-Trainer Program is designed for individuals who want to deliver professional food safety training and become registered TrainCan trainers.
ADVANCED.fst® Certification
Participants must successfully complete ADVANCED.fst® and achieve a minimum exam score of 90% before trainer registration can be granted.
Three Virtual Training Sessions
Training is delivered through three live instructor-led virtual sessions designed to build confidence and presentation skills.
Workbook Activities
Participants complete workbook exercises and learning activities that reinforce key concepts and teaching techniques.
Registration Opportunity
Successful participants may register with TrainCan and become authorized to deliver BASICS.fst® and ADVANCED.fst® training programs.

Become Registered
Meet program requirements and begin delivering BASICS.fst® and ADVANCED.fst® food safety certification programs as a registered TrainCan trainer.
Train-The-Trainer Application
Train-The-Trainer (TTT) is a required course to become a registered Trainer with TrainCan. This allows individuals to conduct their own in-person training for TrainCan's Food Handler programs. Individuals must also complete the ADVANCED.fst Course and pass the exam with a minimum of 90% in order to fulfill the requirements of trainer status. It is advantageous for students to study the ADVANCED.fst before taking the TTT course, but it is not imperative.
