TrainCan Inc. is a Canadian-owned food safety training and certification provider serving individuals, businesses, educational institutions, and government organizations across Canada.
Established in early 2000, TrainCan introduced BASICS.fst, a Canadian employee-level food handler training and certification program, followed by ADVANCED.fst, a management-level food safety certification program. These programs were developed to support Canadian foodservice operations and align with Health Canada guidelines, provincial regulations, and CFIA requirements.
In addition to food handler certification, TrainCan offers training programs in Allergen Awareness, HACCP, WHMIS, Respect & Inclusion in the Workplace, Slip, Trip & Fall Prevention, and other workplace safety topics.
From its administrative office in Pickering, Ontario, TrainCan supports learners and organizations through online, virtual, classroom, and corporate training solutions.
